The change in cabin pressure affects the air and liquids around you. But what many people don't realize is that your body is also affected.

During air travel, dehydration, prolonged sitting, poor sleep, pressure changes, and reduced movement can place additional stress on your cardiovascular system—especially if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, circulation issues, or other chronic conditions.

Before your next flight:

💧 Stay well hydrated
🚶 Get up and walk every 1–2 hours
🧦 Wear compression socks if recommended by your healthcare provider
☕ Avoid excess caffeine 24 hours before your flight
🍷 Limit alcohol intake
😴 Prioritize a good night's sleep before traveling
🦵 Stretch your legs and ankles regularly during the flight
🥗 Choose lighter meals before and during travel

Cocoa 🍫 contains powerful bioactive compounds far beyond antioxidants ✨ Some of its most studied benefits include:

• Supporting circulation and vascular health ❤️
• Helping lower blood pressure 🩸
• Improving insulin sensitivity 📉
• Supporting brain function and blood flow to the brain 🧠
• Boosting mood and well-being 😊
• Reducing inflammation and oxidative stress 🔥

But the key is **how you consume it** 👀

Many “cocoa products” are:
• Highly processed
• Alkalized (“Dutch processed”)
• Loaded with oils, sugar, and emulsifiers 🧪

Which can reduce many of cacao’s natural benefits.

# # # ✅ Best options:

• Pure unsweetened cocoa/cacao powder 🌱
• Or dark chocolate with at least 80–85% cacao 🍫
• In moderate amounts

Examples:
☕ 1–2 tbsp of pure cacao in coffee, smoothies, or oatmeal
🍫 20–30 g of real dark chocolate

And one important thing 💡
Cacao can support health tremendously, but it does NOT “cancel out” a diet high in ultra-processed foods. It works best as part of an anti-inflammatory lifestyle 🌿
