If you're looking for new podcast ideas, check out the Evolving Traditions podcast, with Tanaya Ti'en and Matt Dyktynski.

Relaxed, funny, deep conversations about all kinds of traditions, from parenting to acting to yoga therapy. Tanaya, of course, is the author of the fabulous book, Evolving Traditions: Yoga, Ethics & Modern Practice.

I was invited on to the podcast recently and we had a lovely chat about how what I learned as a very young child led to a life of "wearing many hats" - yoga, qigong, publishing, travel, food - and what this means to me now in my wisdom years.

I am grateful to Tanaya and Matt for their wise and kind interviewing style, which put me at my ease and led me to reflect on my own life in a new way.

Renewed concern about microplastics accumulating in my body has prompted me to take more rigorous action about my plastics use at home. I'd already been pretty good about not storing food in plastic, but I suddenly realized that there were many sources of plastic in the products that I put in my mouth and on my skin every day.

So far I've managed to find alternatives for most of my toiletries but there are a few gaps I'm still working on: in particular, electric toothbrush heads, cleanser and sunscreen. Cosmetics are another matter, there are hardly any alternatives to plastic containers for foundations, tinted moisturizers, blusher, eyeshadow etc.

Is this something you're thinking about, concerned about, taking action on? I'd love to hear your tips and views.

PS The products I have photographed are packaged in paper, cardboard, metal or glass.

After many months behind the scenes, it's finally here!

This beautiful book, 'Evolving Traditions: Yoga, Ethics, & Modern Practice', is what I spent much of last year immersed in as Chief Editor. It has been an enormous collaborative effort, and I'm incredibly proud of what Tanaya Ti'en and the whole team have created.

Congratulations, Tanaya! Wishing this wonderful book every success as it makes its way into the hands of readers around the world. ❤️📚

Sunrise Qigong on Koh Tao: gentle waves lapping, shifting light, sudden rain shower (while doing Deer which is linked to the Water element!)

Today's practice was Meridian Qigong and the 5 Animals Spring Path (followed by Fish Qigong at the end!) It's not always as beautiful where I practice but no matter where I am my morning qigong always shifts my life for the better.

Just completed two weeks of 5 Animal Qigong teacher training with White Tiger Qigong in Vietnam. It didn't rain all the time, as most of the shots in this video suggest, but was particularly atmospheric when it did. So grateful to have been able to have this experience: simultaneously energising, connecting, strengthening, eye-opening, relaxing, detoxifying, magical, challenging, mysterious and beautiful! Thanks to Tevia Feng, Sarah Divine, Mai Sato and around 50 beautiful like-minded souls from across the globe. Together we made magic in an imperfect world, and reminded ourselves that we are beacons of light always... 🙏✨💫🪷
