Healthy Buddha Dr. Neha Garg is a clinical nephrologist for over 12 years. Take your health in your own hands and make changes today!!

She believes that the best approach to health is one that combines western methods with traditional Ayurvedic and Yogic approach. I am an optimist, an aspiring yogi, a centrist, nature enthusiast, perpetual student and a decent improviser. Human body is a truly wondrous machine and the biggest alchemical laboratory. It needs daily TLC and regular maintenance. This can be achieved with some improvisation, by adding a dash of modern medicine, a pinch of yoga and some essence from Ayurveda and Chinese traditional medicine. Namaskaram all and thank you for reading :)

Cut out refined sugar, gluten and seed oils but still bloated? Hidden food additives called emulsifiers may be part of the reason.

What do you bring home from 13 days at Kailash?

Watch my full Kailash film: https://youtu.be/M2zR7m7uyGA

The demanding walk. The quiet that followed. And a question that stayed with me: “What am I willing to leave behind?”

These illustrated field notes offer a glimpse of the journey. In the film, I share my personal experience and explore pilgrimage through ideas from yogic tradition.

What has a journey changed in you? Tell me in the comments.

Thirteen days on the Kailash yatra changed the question I brought home. I went looking for something to receive. I returned wondering what I was ready to leave behind. The full film is now on Healthy Buddha. What has a journey changed in you?

Three days around Kailash. Thin air, prayer, generous guides—and a stillness that came home with me. Thank you for walking this journey with me. Follow Healthy Buddha for more.

Lake Manasarovar, a quiet monastery, and the stories we encountered before the walk around Kailash. A personal journey with Dr. Neha. Part 5: the parikrama.

From green Kyirong to Tibet’s vast plateau, higher altitude, and a few quiet moments beside the Brahmaputra. Come with me. Part 4: Manasarovar.

A special year for Kailash. An unforgettable road through Nepal. And photographs that mean something very different now. From Himalayan pit stops to our thoughts for the communities affected by the floods — this is the second chapter of my journey.

With prayers for strength, healing and hope.

My preparation? Enthusiastic… slightly inadequate.

I’m Dr. Neha Garg, and this is the beginning of my personal journey through Nepal and Tibet to Lake Manasarovar and Mount Kailash — and into a question I can’t yet answer: will I come back the same?

Come along for the adventure, the spiritual moments and everything in between. Follow Healthy Buddha for the next chapter: Kathmandu.

Amla is more than a traditional “beauty herb.” Its antioxidant compounds make the collagen conversation genuinely interesting, without promising an overnight cosmetic fix.

Here is the modern science and Ayurvedic context in under 40 seconds.

Noticing more shedding or a slowly widening part? Hair changes can sometimes be an early sign that the body is missing essential building blocks. In this video, Dr. Neha Garg breaks down five nutrients worth discussing with your clinician and three Ayurvedic practices traditionally used to support the scalp and hair.

The goal is not to guess or mega-dose supplements. It is to identify the cause, correct genuine deficiencies and use consistent supportive care.

Watch, save and share with someone who has been worried about thinning hair.
