Horse Constellations: How Horses Reveal Hidden Patterns in Our Lives.
During our horse healing retreat, participants engage in a powerful Horse Constellation Exercise where different sections of an obstacle course represent key areas of life, including relationships, family, community, career, finances, health, purpose, and personal growth.

As participants lead their horses through each station, the horses often mirror emotions, challenges, strengths, and opportunities that may be operating beneath conscious awareness. Some horses move effortlessly through the course. Others pause, resist, or offer unexpected insights, creating opportunities for reflection and transformation.

We also offer the Around the World exercise, where participants build trust and connection by rotating around the horse ba****ck, free-liberty meditation with the herd, and other experiential activities that make our retreats so unique.

At Starr Horse Retreats, healing extends far beyond our time with the horses.

For four days, Chef Catalina lovingly prepared three organic vegetarian meals a day for our retreat participants while eight months pregnant! Every meal was adjusted to individual dietary preferences and designed to nourish the body as deeply as the retreat nourished the heart.

Food is part of the medicine. Participants gather around the table, share stories, build community, and experience the power of being cared for through healthy, delicious meals.

We are incredibly grateful for Catalina’s dedication, generosity, and beautiful spirit. She helps make our retreats truly unforgettable experiences.

During our free-liberty meditation with the herd at our last horse-healing retreat, participants experienced profound healing and transformation. The horses moved gently among us, offering their unique medicine through presence, awareness, and authentic relationship.

Then Sunday arrived.

Powerful winds swept across the ranch, creating a tornado atmosphere. We began our usual free-liberty meditation, but realized that rather than resisting, we could run with the herd! Some said it was their favorite part of the retreat
