Most of the fights we have in our relationships are often about one thing: whoโs right and whoโs wrong.
You may forget the details of the argument, but underneath it is often this need to prove that youโre right.
So, if you want the wiser part of you to have more influence in your life, try this:
Practice being kind rather than being right, whenever you have the choice.
You have that choice with your spouse, your family, your colleagues, a stranger on the freeway, a flight attendant, a waiterโฆ.with anyone you interact with.
When you quiet that part of you that says, โItโs important for me to be right,โ you create space for less stress, less conflict, better relationships, and greater coherence.
This doesnโt mean you stop speaking up or abandon your point of view.
It means you stop making being right more important than being respectful.
The next time you feel the urge to prove your point, pause and ask:
โDo I want to win this moment, or do I want to create understanding?โ
Sometimes the most powerful response isnโt proving that youโre right.
Itโs choosing peace, connection, and kindness when you could have chosen ego instead.
If this resonates, join me Sunday morning for a Breathwork, Meditation & Healing Sound Bath Immersionโฆ.a space to release stress, reset your mind, body and soul, and begin the week feeling more grounded and centered.
