Medi-Cal dental changes are coming.

Starting July 1, 2026, Medi-Cal will no longer cover routine dental services for some adults with unsatisfactory immigration status. Emergency dental care will still be covered.

Most Medi-Cal members will keep the dental coverage they have now.

We recommend you visit a dentist by July 1, 2026, to use your benefits. Please visit www.scfhp.com/for-members/dental-and-vision-care for a partial list of dental providers in Santa Clara County currently accepting Santa Clara Family Health Plan (SCFHP) Medi-Cal members.
