In what world is this a reasonable amount of information for a person to actually read and process in order to make an informed choice about a new medicatIon?! I very much appreciate the education, I'm a Midwife after all - the more informed the consent, the better. But there has to be a more realistic and accessible way to get this into my brain!

(And yes, it's all in english, in tiny, tiny letters. Seriously, never gonna happen.)

I realized recently that it has been 17 years since I began facilitating support groups for Solo Parents! Unbelievable.

I've always been passionate about supporting and celebrating this community, and it is so fulfilling to find new ways to do so. Opening Hearthstone's Bookshelf allows me to recommend books for each of the stages and communities I care about, and Solo Parent Village has the potential to become a haven and resource for so many more than might join a full support group series.

It feels so natural to be building these resources that it's hard to believe we haven't had them this whole time! If you know of any you think belong on this (or any) list, please let me know in the comments or a DM! And if you know someone that might benefit from any of these offerings, I'd love it if you shared them. Too many people feel alone in wondering if they can, want to, should, could, or would be able to do this on their own, and I want each of them to find a space that let's them know, heck yeah they can.

I'm excited to share this new resource - a bookshop I curate myself, organized by TTC, expecting/postpartum, parenting infants & toddlers, kids books, becoming the parent you want to be, etc., and the profits go to the local, independent bookstore of my choice! It's really cool, and lets me share so much more than I can here or on my website, in a much more accessible, aesthetic, easy to use way.

We're scheduling for the Fall, and the early bird rate is available now! Our meeting time has moved to Sundays, 10:30am-12pm, to accommodate more nap times.

I created this group to meet the needs specific to Solo Parents with infants and toddlers, and our conversations range from mutual support and deep talks to sorting through childcare options and parenting approaches. It's so sweet and supportive, I can't wait to see who we meet.

{I'm also including links to both of my free online communities with this one, because this is my only group where they're both relevant! 'Parenting Infants & Toddlers' is not a solo parent-specific group, but everyone there has little ones in that age range and the topics and support are so awesome. 'Solo Parent Village' is solo parent-specific, obviously, and is open to all phases of the process, from thinking and trying all the way up to solo parents of kids in middle school. They're both open now, and folks are welcome to check them out!}
