At Osborn Metro Park, we engaged in a reptile educational program, followed by a picnic lunch. Do you know that Ohio is home to 25 species of snakes, of which 3 are venomous and 22 are non-venomous? Interestingly, male Box Turtles are characterized by their red eyes. We also discovered that Tree Frogs live in the upper regions of trees and have the unique ability to change colors. It was an enlightening experience!

Not long ago, Providence Care Center in Sandusky celebrated the 102nd birthday of resident Dorothy "Dotty" Yerks.

Known as a massive Cleveland Guardians fan, the center hosted a baseball-themed birthday bash for Yerks. Even the team's primary mascot, Slider, made an appearance to surprise her.
