t is with a heavy heart that I share that SJET Clinical Services will be discontinuing its Medi-Cal services and i will be terminatying my contract with Fresno County and the Department of Behavioral Health. Medi-Cal funding represents approximately 80% of our revenue, making it impossible to continue operating that portion of our practice under the new insurance expectations from DBH. Unfortunately dozens of families, adults and children will need to be referred back to DBH and others would opt out. I started my practice to help people and not to get rich. It breaks my heart to part with this population due to bureaucratic rigidity and disregard for providers that have serviced patients for over 13 years that they couldn’t.
