In our latest video, Dr. Mark Yaffe, board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing hand, shoulder, and elbow specialist at Barrington Orthopedic Specialists, shares important insight into pickleball-related injuries and how to help prevent them.

While pickleball is a great way to stay active, Dr. Yaffe notes that many of the injuries he sees fall into the category of “not worth it,” especially when they lead to significant downtime and long recovery periods. Common injuries include wrist fractures, shoulder rotator cuff tears, and labral injuries, particularly as patients get older.
