The product alone can cost a practice hundreds of dollars per vial. The price of your appointment also reflects medical supplies, overhead, and the experience and care that go into planning and performing your treatment. The amount an injector keeps is often much less than people assume.

I work hard to keep my pricing reasonable and competitive—on the lower end for my area—while giving every patient the time and attention they deserve.

I’m dealing with what appears to be a review extortion attempt, and I’d love to hear if this has happened to anyone else.

I received an Instagram message offering to remove one-star Google reviews if I paid. I deleted the message and blocked the account. About 15 minutes later, four one-star reviews appeared on my business listing.

These are fake reviews. I have no patients by those names, and the account names themselves are quite bizarre. I’ve reported all four reviews to Google, but they’re still up while my reports are being reviewed.

I work incredibly hard to provide great patient care, and I take reviews seriously. It’s upsetting to see my business targeted this way. Has anyone else experienced this? What did you do to get the reviews removed?
