Psoriasis and Metabolic Syndrome, Tuesday, September 1 from 6:00–7:00 p.m. CT with Patricia Shaw, DNP, FNP-BC, DCNP. We're covering where the inflammatory pathways overlap between psoriasis and metabolic syndrome, how that inflammation drives cardiovascular risk, and what changes for patients when dermatology coordinates with primary care, endocrinology, and cardiology instead of working alone.
Because your psoriasis patients are cardiology patients too, and most of them don't know it yet.
Dr. Shaw's background spans dermatology, allergy, immunology, and rheumatology, including the NHS dermatology department in Scotland. She teaches in the FNP program at New Mexico State and works to expand derm access for underserved patients in Doña Ana County. Moderated by Jennifer Wicklund, MSN, FNP-C, DCNP.
Free to members and non-members. 1 CME credit. Bring a colleague.
