The Body’s Cycle of Learning:
A Somatic Journey for Transforming Outdated Belief Systems
December 6 & 7, 2025
In-Person in North Seattle
13.5 CEU's for professionals

Our bodies are the container through which we experience ourselves and the world around us. We can track and impact our experience on 5 different levels; for example, our muscular-skeletal system, our mental/ neuron-network system, our emotions/ nervous system and more. These levels are separate but intrinsically connected.

This workshop will explore how our experiences get processed on these levels, and why sometimes we are able to learn from and transform experience, while other times we repeat old patterns that don’t serve us. This often leads to anxiety or depression or other symptoms that hold us back and keep us from experiencing our vital life energy.

This is an experiential somatic workshop for both professionals and people wanting to transform old patterns and feel more alive! Participants will have the opportunity to recognize how we, and those we work with, block their own life energy. And we will explore how to take steps toward opening.

Traditional psychotherapy works toward congruence in a person's thinking, emotions, actions, and life choices. Body-oriented therapy understands that the body is also profoundly affected by our life experiences. Identifying and releasing attitudes and old images held in our physical structure adds an important component to therapy. This promotes lasting change, allowing for free flow of life energy from within us so we can more fully realize our life, our joy.
