We had a wonderful time making delicious cheese bread and hot chocolate, the perfect combination to warm us up on a chilly day! ❄️☕

Between smiles, laughter, and the wonderful aroma of freshly baked bread, our residents enjoyed a heartwarming experience filled with joy, love, and meaningful connections.

Because nothing warms the heart quite like a cup of hot chocolate, freshly baked cheese bread, and the joy of being together!

A special moment filled with love and beautiful memories! ❤️

Today, we shared a truly heartwarming activity as our residents drew their favorite person in the world and explained why that person holds such a special place in their hearts. 💕

Each drawing told a beautiful story filled with love, gratitude, and cherished times. As we listened to their stories, we were reminded that the most precious treasures in life are the people who make us feel loved, valued, and happy.

Learn to Play Mahjong This Fall!

Join us on November 4th and 11th from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM for our Beginner Mahjong Series! Benchmark Senior Living at Split Rock in Shelton invites you to a two-part beginner series led by expert local instructor Coreen Ahmad.

Each participant will receive a 2026 NMJL card, and a selection of hot and cold beverages and assorted candy will be provided.

Space is limited to 12 participants, and attendance at both sessions is requested.

Today is World Mental Health Day, a time to recognize the importance of mental well-being while continuing to encourage education, awareness and open conversations around mental health.

Take some time today to do something that supports your well-being - whether that’s taking a walk, tending to the garden, chatting with a friend, enjoying a favorite activity or simply setting aside some quiet time for yourself.
