Sheridan Memorial Hospital's Transitional Care team recently took a group of patients on a community outing to the Museum of Discovery at the Leslie F. Mohns Center at Sheridan College. 🦖🏛️

At Sheridan Memorial Hospital, our goal isn't just to help patients return home — it's to help them return to life. Outings like these help patients practice functional mobility, build confidence navigating real-world environments, engage socially and help patients regain the skills they need to safely return to the activities they enjoy.

Happy Emergency Medical Services Week! 🚑❤️

This week, May 17 – 23, we at Sheridan Memorial Hospital proudly recognize and thank the EMS professionals in Sheridan and the surrounding communities who respond to emergencies with skill and compassion.

We want to thank Sheridan Fire-Rescue and Wyoming Regional EMS for their continued partnership. Their close collaboration with our Emergency Department helps ensure seamless, high-quality care for every patient who arrives at Sheridan Memorial Hospital by ambulance.

Our community is fortunate to have such dedicated teams serving us. We can’t thank them enough for the role they play in helping our hospital fulfill our mission of serving our community with excellent, patient-centered care!

Nearly one year after undergoing a total ankle replacement with Sheridan Orthopedic's podiatrist, Daniel Peterson, DPM, FACFAS, equine veterinarian Judy Merriott, DVM, is back to hiking confidently on uneven terrain and navigating rocky hillsides with ease. 🥾🌄

She credits both the procedure and Dr. Peterson with restoring her quality of life and helping her return to what she loves.

“I wanted my quality of life back, and I feel like it got it back,” said Merriott.
