Summer is the hardest time of year to keep blood on the shelves. 🩸

When school lets out, so do the blood drives that stock our region's hospitals all year. Add in summer travel and more accidents, and you get a real gap — fewer donors right when patients need blood most. ☀️

The good news? That gap is one you can close. It takes about an hour, and a single donation can help save up to three lives. Patients don't take a summer break, and neither does the need for blood.
