Happy National Assisted Living Week! This years theme is "Shining Through the Years" and we decided to go back to a youthful time of camp memories! Each day we will be having some fun camp activities. On Sunday we kicked it all off with a Grandparent's Day Camp Cookout! Residents, families, and staff enjoyed some BBQ, the petting zoo, music by DJ Sarah, and then split up into teams to compete in some minute to win it games! It was a blast and there's still more to come for the week! 🙂🏕

Yesterday, the Sycamore had our fundraising event to give back to the Boys and Girls Club of America , "Tie Dye for a Cause" We enjoyed some tie dye-ing, entertainment by singer Leonardo , the Emergency Ice Cream Truck & did some raffle baskets. Overall, we fundraised $312 ! It's now day 3 with more fun to come and everyone's been having a great time so far!

For NASA Day we took our residents to see “Mars: The Ultimate Voyage” at the J. Novins Planetarium at Ocean County College. It was an awesome and educational show !! We definitely recommend this place ! ✨ 🛰️☄️
