Bergamot (Citrus bergamia) is a sweet, lemony, and herbaceous oil known for its uplifting properties. This oil is phototoxic, avoid direct sunlight or UV light for up to 18 hours after applying it to the skin. It can be safely used in a blend at no more than 0.4%.
Fresh, piney, and woodsy with a hint of lemon, Douglas Fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii) offers a boost of energy during stress. It may cause skin irritation. Use a low dilution when applying to the skin.
Ho Wood (Cinnamomum camphora, ct linalol) is calming to the mind without causing drowsiness. It makes a wonderful massage oil. There are no known safety issues specific to Ho Wood.
