However, a skin check is a simple and important step for your health, and through November, Brandi is offering complimentary skin exams to Picayune patients.

Mohs surgery is usually recommended for skin cancers in sensitive areas like the face, ears, and hands, where it is important to keep as much healthy tissue as possible.

We also use this procedure for cancers that have come back or have unclear edges under the skin.

With this method, we remove the affected tissue one thin layer at a time and check each layer under a microscope before moving on.

This approach helps us treat the cancer completely while saving as much healthy skin as we can. It also offers one of the highest cure rates for skin cancer.

You do not have to wait until a spot becomes a bigger problem.

Some patients who have had strong treatments elsewhere may think our lighter first treatment means we are being too gentle.

Actually, we do this so we can adjust after seeing how your face responds, rather than committing to a look that can't be changed.
Your face keeps talking to us after you leave.

How your face settles over two weeks: where the muscle still moves and where it doesn’t, gives us information we can't see on the first day.

So we wait, we look, and then we finish the thought. Some patients need round two. Some don't. Neither one means we got it wrong the first time.

This is also why it can take 2 or 3 visits to get the results you want, especially with fillers, since swelling can change how things look in the first week.
