There’s something so peaceful about this stage.

Tiny paws. Full bellies. Dream-filled naps. 🐾💛

Right now, their biggest job is to eat, grow, play, and sleep. They have no idea that somewhere, a family is already dreaming about them too.

Every nap brings them one day closer to meeting the people they’ll spend a lifetime loving. Until then, we’re soaking up every cuddle, every yawn, and every precious moment.

For now… they sleep.
Soon… they’ll be home. ❤️

A few days after this litter was born, we lost one of the puppies to a bowel blockage. Around the same time, my sister was diagnosed with stage IV colorectal cancer. She underwent surgery that resulted in a colostomy, and we know her journey is one we won’t get to keep forever.

Since losing that tiny puppy, I can’t help but imagine that little soul waiting on the other side—full of love, somehow cheering my sister on, ready to welcome her when her time comes. Whether you share that belief or not, the thought has brought me comfort during one of the hardest seasons of my life.

This post is for everyone who is walking beside someone whose time feels heartbreakingly short. May you find moments of peace, hope, and love even in the middle of grief.
