Another special delivery to our Wellstar partners! πŸŽπŸ’š

As part of our 50th Anniversary celebration, our Business Development Director stopped by Wellstar Douglas Medical Center on October 5 to drop off a 50th Anniversary gift basket for their emergency department team.

Behind every person who finds their way to care is a team of people who made the call, made the connection, and made a difference. We're grateful to the team at Wellstar Douglas for being part of that work in our community.

Here's to many more years of partnership! πŸ’šπŸ’›

β€œIt helped a lot in making me more responsible for my own recovery.”
Benjamin came to Ridgeview at the end of 2025, and he says his time here helped him better understand the challenges he was facing and take ownership of his recovery.

Today, Benjamin is part of our Alumni Association, which supports current patients by raising money, hosting events, and so much more. In his words, β€œIt’s a wonderful program, and I really enjoy being a part of it."

Thank you, Benjamin, for sharing your story and for giving back to the community that helped you. And thank you to our entire Alumni Association for your continued support of our mission. You are living proof that hope and healing are possible. πŸ’š

Our 50th Anniversary thank-you tour continues! πŸ’šπŸ’›

After our visit to Wellstar Psychiatry at Windy Hill, our Business Development Director stopped by Wellstar Cobb Medical Center and Wellstar Paulding Hospital to drop off 50th Anniversary gift baskets for their emergency department teams.

ER teams are often the first to help someone in a mental health crisis, and we're grateful to partner with them to make sure patients and families get the care they need when they need it most.

Thank you again, Wellstar! πŸ’š

50 Years of Compassionate Care, and the Alumni Who Help Make It Possible πŸ’šπŸ€

As Ridgeview Institute Smyrna celebrates 50 years, we want to thank our Ridgeview Alumni Association Steering Committee.

These men and women in active recovery give their time to serve our patients, our alumni, and the recovering community while promoting recovery through fellowship, service, and unity.

The Serenity Garden they built and lovingly care for is just one reminder of the hope they bring to our campus every day. Thank you!πŸ‘πŸŽŠ

Proud to stand with our community partners for A Morning of Remembrance, Hope & Healing. πŸ’šπŸ’œ

Yesterday, Rylan Shaughnessy, our Alumni Coordinator, and Joanne, our Director of Business Development, joined the Georgia Mental Health Consumer Network for their Su***de Prevention & Recovery Event in Tucker. It was a powerful morning of remembering those we've lost, hearing stories of hope, and connecting people with the support they need.

Thank you to the Georgia Mental Health Consumer Network and City of Tucker Parks & Recreation for bringing our community together, and to every speaker who shared their story. Events like this remind us that asking for help isn't a weakness, and that no one has to face their struggles alone.

If you or someone you love is struggling, help is available 24/7 at Ridgeview: (770) 434-4667.

50th Anniversary Alumni Series | Kimberly's Story πŸ’šπŸ’›

"Ridgeview has always been my safe space."Kimberly first came to Ridgeview in 2016. She still remembers what she heard in our morning check-ins: "If you are here, you're in the right place. If you're back, we're glad to have you."

In 2022, she went straight from inpatient into residential treatment, which she says was the extra support she needed to become successful in her recovery. Today, Kimberly is a proud Ridgeview alumna. She stays connected through our aftercare community and leads 12-step meetings for current patients, giving back the hope she found here.

Thank you, Kimberly, for sharing your story and for helping make Ridgeview feel like home, not just a hospital. πŸ’š

If you or someone you love is struggling, we're here 24/7. Call us at (770) 434-4667.
