We are proud to welcome Jackie Baras, our new Director of Nursing at Complete Care at Willow Creek! 💙
As a professional Registered Nurse and healthcare quality leader, Jackie brings extensive experience in clinical leadership, patient safety, quality improvement, and building high-performing teams. She is passionate about creating strong partnerships, fostering staff engagement, and delivering exceptional care experiences.
With a commitment to caring for seniors, Jackie is excited to return to long-term care and continue making a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents and their families. Jackie brings valuable expertise in age-friendly care initiatives, including her leadership in developing a Geriatric Council and Geriatric Steering Committee and supporting the implementation of the Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders (NICHE) program. Jackie became a driving force in advancing a more age-friendly health system by integrating the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) 4Ms Framework — What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility — into clinical practice. Through these efforts, she championed evidence-based, interdisciplinary approaches that enhanced the quality, safety, and experience of care for seniors.
