What if the life you’re trying so hard to control… was never meant to be controlled by you?

Debra Rasmussen’s story is a powerful reminder that God can take the broken, the hurting, and the places we thought could never change, and begin something completely new.

In her Re:generation testimony, Debra shares what brought her to the program, what God revealed to her along the way, and how surrendering her life to Christ changed everything.

This isn’t just a story about recovery.

It’s a story about freedom. Redemption. Healing. And Jesus. ❤️

Take a few minutes and watch Debra’s testimony. You may see a little of your own story in hers, or you may realize that Re:generation could be the next step God is calling you to take.

You don’t have to keep doing life the same way.

Join us for Re:generation beginning August 27th.

Come hear the stories. Find community. And discover what happens when you let God begin rebuilding your life.

Are You Close to Jesus—or Just Informed About Him?

You can know the Bible.
You can go to church.
You can know about Jesus.

But do you actually know Him?

A relationship with Jesus changes everything. And sometimes, taking that next step means being willing to get honest about where you are, what you’ve been through, what’s holding you back, and where you need God to move in your life.

That’s what Re:generation is about.

Re:generation is a Christ-centered recovery ministry where we walk through life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups while learning what it truly means to follow Jesus and experience His transforming power.

Our next Re:generation group begins August 27, 2026.

If you’ve been feeling like there has to be more…

If you’re tired of trying to do everything on your own…

If you’re carrying hurts you haven’t been able to let go of…

If you want more than just knowing about Jesus, you want to know Him…

This could be your next step.

Come hear what Re:generation is all about, listen to real testimonies from people whose lives have been changed, and see what God can do when you’re willing to surrender your life to Him.

Watch the sermon to learn more about Re:generation and hear the stories of people who have walked through it.

Then ask yourself:

“Am I just informed about Jesus—or am I actually walking with Him?”

Maybe August 27 is the night you take that next step.

Re:generation begins August 27, 2026.
Come as you are. Let God do the rest.

What a night. 🙏

This past Thursday was so much more than a commencement ceremony. It was a celebration of redemption, restoration, perseverance, and God’s faithfulness.

To our Re:generation participants CONGRATULATIONS! You showed up, did the hard work, faced the difficult things, and kept going. We are so incredibly proud of each of you. Your stories matter, your lives matter, and what God is doing in and through you matters.

To our mentors, thank you for saying yes. Thank you for showing up, listening, praying, encouraging, challenging, and walking alongside our participants. You gave your time, your hearts, and pieces of your own stories to help someone else find freedom. We could not do this without you.

To the families and friends who stood beside our participants, thank you for celebrating them, supporting them, and believing in them. Your presence and encouragement mean more than you know.

To Neighborhood Church and Pastor David Henderson, thank you for saying YES to Re:generation and for creating a place where people can come exactly as they are and discover that Jesus isn’t finished with their story. Thank you for believing in this ministry and giving us the opportunity to watch God change lives.

And a very special THANK YOU to those who generously donated and helped make this ministry possible:
❤️ Custom Industries Inc.
❤️ Lamar Powell
❤️ Acclaim Construction
❤️ Hamilton Flooring
❤️ Windfall Billing
❤️ McKay & Sarah Nehring
❤️ Debra & Lamar Rasmussen

Your generosity helped make this ministry special for our participants and their families. Thank you for investing in people and in the work God is doing through Re:generation. We are incredibly grateful for each of you.

Thank you Nate Graybill for creating the ministry Re:generation. Thank you Jim Dennis for coaching us through this pilot group. We can’t express enough how grateful we are. 🙏

And most importantly, thank You, Jesus. 🙏

Because this is why we do it.
We believe that no one is too broken, too far gone, too ashamed, or too unqualified for God to use.

This past Thursday, we got to watch people rise.

We got to celebrate the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. These participants aren’t just walking away with a completion of a program, they are walking forward with a testimony, a community, and a God who has been faithful every step of the way.

To our participants : this is not the end. This is just the beginning.
We love you. We believe in you. And we cannot wait to see what God does next.

Congratulations
Here’s to everything God has already done, and everything He is still going to do.

A Heartfelt Thank You

As we celebrate our Re:generation Commencement, my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude for what God has done. Every story of freedom, every step of healing, every tear, every victory, and every life transformed belongs to Him alone. "To Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen." (Romans 11:36)

Thank You, Jesus, for taking broken stories and writing beautiful endings, and even more beautiful new beginnings. Thank You for proving once again that no one is too far gone for Your grace, Your love, and Your redeeming power.

A special thank you to Neighborhood Church for embracing this ministry and creating a place where people can encounter the hope of Christ. Thank you to Pastor David Henderson and Victoria Henderson for your leadership, your prayers, your encouragement, and your unwavering support. Your belief in this ministry has allowed countless people to experience the transforming power of Jesus.

To every mentor, thank you for faithfully walking beside our participants week after week. You listened without judgment, prayed without ceasing, encouraged when the road was difficult, and reminded people of God's truth when they couldn't see it for themselves. You have been the hands and feet of Jesus, and your investment in these lives has eternal value.

To every volunteer, leader, speaker, and servant behind the scenes, those who prepared meals, set up chairs, greeted guests, prayed, cleaned, organized, and quietly served, thank you. Your faithfulness often went unseen by others, but it has never gone unseen by God.
To the families and friends who stood beside your loved ones through this journey, thank you for your patience, your prayers, your grace, and your encouragement. Recovery and healing are never walked alone, and your love has made a lasting difference.

And finally, to each graduate: your courage to surrender your life to Christ and trust Him with your deepest hurts, habits, and hang-ups is an incredible testimony of His faithfulness. Your story is living proof that Jesus still heals, restores, and makes all things new.

May we never forget that Re:generation isn't about completing a program, it's about beginning a lifelong journey of walking with Christ. Tonight we celebrate not perfection, but transformation. Not our strength, but His. Not what we've accomplished, but what Jesus has accomplished in us.

To God be all the glory. Thank you to everyone who has prayed, served, supported, mentored, and loved this ministry. Your faithfulness has helped change lives for eternity.

"Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen." (Ephesians 3:20–21)

What if freedom is closer than you think?

Are you struggling with...
• Anxiety?
• Depression?
• Unforgiveness?
• Anger?
• Addiction?
• Shame?
• Fear?
• Loneliness?
• Codependency?
• People pleasing?
• Po*******hy?
• Grief?
• Bitterness?
• Stress?
• Worry?
• Or something else that seems impossible to overcome?

You're not alone.

The truth is, every one of us is fighting something. Healing begins when we're honest about our struggles and willing to let Jesus meet us there.

Re:generation isn't just for addiction, it's for anyone who wants to experience freedom through Christ. It's a safe place where broken people find hope, healing, authentic community, and a deeper relationship with Jesus.

No matter what your past looks like, your story isn't over. Jesus still restores lives.

Our Re:generation group had the blessing of serving at the Mission yesterday alongside another group of brothers and sisters in Christ.

Several of us were able to bring our children and grandchildren, and it was a beautiful reminder of the importance of teaching the next generation to follow Christ through service.

When we involve our children in serving others, we help them see the love of Jesus in action and learn what it means to be His hands and feet. Planting these seeds of compassion, generosity, and faith at a young age can have a lasting impact on their lives and their walk with Christ.

Serving together brought so much joy to our hearts and reminded us that true fulfillment comes from giving, loving, and pointing others to Him. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside one another as we continue to pursue healing, growth, and transformation through Christ in Re:generation.

We are also thankful for Steve Spiess and the Mission for welcoming us and allowing us to use the Mission as a place to serve. Their partnership gives us the opportunity to put our faith into action, share Christ’s love with others, and create meaningful experiences for both our group and community. We are truly grateful for their generosity.
