We celebrated with Cheese Pizza from Papa John’s, of course!
Residents enjoyed an afternoon treat along with games, including a “Name the Pizza Toppings” list—we think we did pretty good!

What a delightful afternoon we had with our first ever Treat Trolley! 🍬🍫🍭
🚪First there was a knock at the door.
Then the sound of Judy Garland singing "The Trolley Song" came through the threshold.🎶
Then a lady is standing there with a Treat Trolley full of candy, cupcakes and other delights. 🛒
Lots of smiles, laughter and pure sweet joy were on the faces of our Kinwell residents.😃
We can't wait to do it again next Friday!

It was a gorgeous day to host a Wheel Wash 🦽 at Kinwell South Lyon! Residents loved knowing their wheels were going to shine, while enjoying some sunshine, a tasty treat, and listening to Motown music.🎶 We even got a little wet along the way, which helped keep us cool while having fun. All in all, it was a wonderful day in the sun.🌞

🇺🇲The Michigan War Dog Memorial in Lyon Township serves as a serene, dedicated final resting place for military working dogs, police K-9s, and equine officers. 🦮🐎
Kinwell residents recently had the honor of touring the sanctuary alongside War Dog Memorial President Clint Symons and his wife - Vice President Krisi Symons. The couple enriched the visit with compelling history, stories of the various K-9's resting at the memorial, and patriotic details, while their service dogs, Cassi and Scout, brought extra warmth to the stroll through the grounds.
​It was a deeply moving experience, and all South Lyon residents are encouraged to visit this inspiring local landmark to honor these heroic animals.🐾❤️
