Today was special as multiple patients had their d/c day. One of the families said they liked Styx so naturally I sang an acoustic version of "Come Sail Away" as all the medical staff cheered them on their way home.

Thankful forever for for the past 7 years of amazing experiences. They helped a group of us get to AFTACON in New Mexico last week, where I learned an astounding amount of information in a few days. And on top of it, got to see a beautiful area that I've always wanted to visit. Great hikes, green chili, lake swims, and *incredible* museums. The Hispanic Cultural Center left me speechless. When it often feels like the politic of our times leaves culture & creativity out of the *entire* conversation, this conference was such an important reminder of how much the Arts Matter.

Super glad to have spent time with these young women over the last three years. snoweleadershipinstitute is a wonderful organization and it's been an honor to volunteer with them. Coincidentally, I was placed at my hometown school and my co-OLA was a former colleague from Pierce Atwood. 💕
Can't wait to see what these seniors do next.

My last night in France. Stumbled upon a festival Bretagne and was pulled into a dance circle.. couldn't have asked for a better ending to the trip I have dreamed of since childhood. This was a much-needed vacation after a challenging few years, and a reminder to slow down. Or, speed up and hop in if someone grabs your elbow and starts swinging you around! 😂
