We get asked about this ingredient ALL the time and the story behind it starts more than 20 years ago at a track meet in Japan.

Seth was watching a Japanese nutritionist prepare an electrolyte drink when he asked him a question Seth wasn’t expecting:

“What are you using for skin?”

Wait… SKIN?! We thought we were talking about electrolytes. 👀

That conversation introduced Seth to bamboo and eventually influenced what you see on the Superieur label today.

But here’s where it gets really interesting…

There’s something inside bamboo that made Seth want it in the formula.

Seth was thinking beakers. His grandma was thinking real food 💡

Some of the most important lessons behind Superieur didn’t come from a textbook or a laboratory. They came from quiet conversations in a garden 🪏 conversations that challenged the way Seth thought about nutrition, ingredients, and what our bodies truly need.

Those conversations became questions 💭 Those questions became a philosophy 📖

A philosophy rooted in looking to nature first 🍋 🍓

Superieur was never created by choosing ingredients to fit a formula. The formula was built around a way of thinking.

This is just one of the many conversations, encounters, and lessons that helped shape Superieur.

As Grandma’s Story comes to a close, it opens the door to our next chapter: exploring the “why” behind every ingredient in Superieur.

When we created Superieur, we didn’t start by asking, “What ingredients should we add?” We started by asking, “Where would nature 🌱 begin?”

That’s why our vitamin C comes from acerola berries 🍒 a whole-food source of vitamin C that’s naturally accompanied by flavonoids, polyphenols, carotenoids, and other plant compounds.
