As a mom, I spend a lot of time thinking about how to keep my family safe. We buckle seatbelts, use car seats, and teach our children to look both ways before crossing the street. But one thing I realized many families overlook is knowing what to do during a cardiac emergency.
During CPR & AED Awareness Week (June 1–7), I'm encouraging everyone to consider learning CPR. In an emergency, the life you save could be your child, spouse, parent, friend, or neighbor.
The truth is, emergencies don't wait for first responders to arrive. The actions taken in those first few minutes can make all the difference.
If you've been thinking about getting certified or refreshing your skills, now is the perfect time. Personal and Work Safety offers both virtual and in-person CPR and AED training to fit your schedule.
