This strong mom has done two other unmedicated births but this one was a little different because she required an induction and navigating that was new. I arrived just in time for active labor and just over four hours later her sweet girl was in her arms! It’s so amazing to me that (nearly) every time I witness labor, a mom is ready to throw in the towel but obviously the only way is through it and every time they find the strength to regroup, surrender and show up big for their baby. Congratulations, “B” family, it was a joy working with you to welcome your sweet girl!

“Angela is absolutely AMAZING! I was looking for someone who could coach my husband and I through an unmedicated birth experience. Angela was everything we could have dreamed of and MORE! So above and beyond. A true gift from God! She’s an amazing advocate for your goals, and was absolutely there for me in my unmedicated birth at a hospital. Not only that, but she’s so solid at incorporating faith, which was extremely important to me as a Catholic.“

This sweet first time family was referred to us by their midwife who they have some fun connections with from decades ago and miles away - the Lord makes no mistakes and it’s so amazing to be a witness to it every day 🤍 We are so honored to be supporting this family as they welcome their near Christmas baby ;)

This one really was extra special. This Mom worked so hard to advocate for herself and prepare to give herself the very best chance of a VBAC and her steady conviction every step of the way through labor really inspired me. Look at that glow… it’s everything 🥹

No, you’re not seeing double ;) We do have two “B” families due this December. This family was referred to us by their midwives and that’s always such an honor! We are so excited to join these first time parents in preparing for their baby’s birthday. We are praying for you every step of the way, “B” family! Congratulations!

Baby #4 and their first homebirth. 🤍

A journey full of surrender, advocacy, and unwavering faith from both the parents and birth team. Birth doesn’t always unfold according to our the plans, but God is faithful through every step. After laboring at home, a non-emergent hospital transfer, and returning home, this sweet boy was born peacefully into his parents’ arms.

We are all for supporting safe home birth options for our clients and are blessed with some INCREDIBLE midwives in the area. When Cheryl Gilman, CPM invited Angela to come help teach IV skills to some of the midwives and student midwives it was a quick “heck yes”!!

This is a skill that isn’t required often in the home birth setting (thankfully) but when dehydration during labor or a more significant hemorrhage postpartum arises it can make a BIG difference in the moment.

The role of a doula is non-medical but we’re all for supporting the entire birth community and the years of experience as an ER nurse came in handy today to serve the birth community 🤍 So honored to work alongside such incredible providers!
