💙 40 years of Haven. 40 years of hope, healing, and brighter tomorrows.

For four decades, Haven has been a safe place for children who needed one most. What began 40 years ago has grown into a legacy of compassion, care, and the belief that every child deserves a home.

None of these 40 years would have been possible without the incredible people who have walked alongside us. To our donors and supporters who have believed in our mission, our staff who pour their hearts into this work every day, and our volunteers who so generously give their time and talents — thank you. You are part of Haven’s story, and your impact can be seen in every life touched along the way.

As we celebrate where we’ve been, we’re also looking forward with so much hope for what’s ahead.

Arisa Health recently announced the selection of Brian Lutz as their new Chief Financial Officer, replacing outgoing CFO Keith Faught.

Before joining work in the non-profit sector, Brian was employed by Walmart as an Assistant Manager working in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Arkansas. Brian got his start in community-based behavioral health working at Counseling Associates, Inc. where he held positions as an accountant, Chief Financial Officer, and Vice President of Finance at Arisa Health. Brian has been instrumental in bringing automation, standardization, and efficiency through more advanced technologies and software solutions.

Brian is widely respected for his diverse expertise and knowledge about non-profit finances and accounting, including mastery of several functions critical in the non-profit space including grants management, auditing, compliance/risk management, and financial reporting.

According to Arisa Health CEO Dr. Laura H. Tyler, “Brian brings a firm commitment to the mission of Arisa Health and those we serve. His strategic focus coupled with his technical expertise, reliance on data analytics and leadership acumen will be instrumental in moving us forward as we work together to be good stewards of resources – ultimately focused on community impact.”

🎉 Congratulations to Tessa Riffell, Arisa Health’s 2026 Practitioner of the Year!

We are thrilled to celebrate Tessa and the extraordinary difference she has made in the lives of the individuals and families we serve. She was honored last week at the Arkansas Behavioral Health Institute for her exceptional dedication to behavioral health and her unwavering commitment to helping others thrive.

Since joining Counseling Associates, now Arisa Health, in 2004, Tessa has served in a wide range of clinical and leadership roles, including children’s services, crisis intervention, emergency behavioral health, forensic behavioral health, and more. Today, she serves as Program Coordinator for Haven, Arisa Health’s residential community reintegration program for adolescent girls in Conway.

Through every role, Tessa has led with compassion, courage, and purpose—creating meaningful change for some of our most vulnerable populations and strengthening the communities we serve.

We are deeply grateful for Tessa’s years of service, leadership, and heart. Please join us in celebrating this well-deserved honor—congratulations, Tessa! 💙

And Arisa Health’s park-themed booth—complete with our butterfly wall—was a huge hit! 🦋 We’ve loved sharing our mission, making new connections, and spending time with so many dedicated professionals who share our passion for behavioral health.

Arisa Health’s Board includes 56 Directors from across our service area. To help keep everyone connected, hybrid meetings rotate among our Jonesboro, Springdale, and Conway locations.

Yesterday’s meeting was held at our Conway office, which proved to be a wonderful location. Our Conway Associates were phenomenal hosts—especially Joyce, who went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. A special thank you also goes to Wayne and Daniel, our IT experts, who helped ensure everything ran smoothly and made the hybrid meeting possible.

We are grateful for the time, expertise, and dedication of our Board members and Associates who continue to support the important work of Arisa Health.
