Saturday night 8/22:
The day was off to a good start with my son’s team winning their football game 26-2!! That was my glimmer today! My son’s the guy who always picks up the players who score the touchdowns 🥰Then I went outside to do the daily plant check…it was 94 degrees at 1pm, and that sucked all the energy out of me once again 🥵☀️ And, the very nasty red ants wanted to feast on my ankles. We had a short afternoon storm which made me feel even more sleepy, so I can safely say it was a very lazy, movie watching “Denzel” day. Ollie’s results from his labs came back, and he’s doing well, and his body’s tolerating his heart medication just fine. Another big glimmer!! I forgot to mention what an unhappy patient he was the other day. Apparently he didn’t care for his accommodations, and was very happy to get home after spending 10 hours in a kennel at the vet’s 😾 Hoping everyone had a happy Saturday, had a great time if you went on an adventure, and that life didn’t feel too heavy to handle.
