One of my favorite ways to connect with nature is through photography. It’s less about the result and more about the simple act of seeing something beautiful and slowing down to admire it—shifting my perspective and allowing my eyes to take in all the interesting details. In those moments, everything goes quiet. When I set the camera down, I find that I feel more present and connected to joy. After doing this for a while, I’ve started to automatically look for and notice the glimmers around me. Beauty and joy are there if we practice noticing them.
