Next season is won this winter. ❄️⛳

Your clubs get a break. Your body shouldn’t. 🏌️‍♂️

Four months off is enough time to lose speed, or gain it. You pick which. ⏳

“I’ll get back into it in the spring” means starting over every year. 🔁

Spring isn’t the starting line. It’s the finish line. 🏁

A winter of training builds:
💨 More clubhead speed, built in the gym
🔄 A turn and posture that hold for 18 holes
💪 A back that feels better, not just rested

Golf fitness doesn’t have to be complicated⛳️

🏌️‍♂️ One band, seven moves, under 30 seconds. These beginner exercises build the mobility and stability every golfer needs, so save this and run it before your next round or range session.

I played D1 golf and now train golfers for a living. These are the 2 landmine moves I wish I’d done in college. 🏌️‍♂️💥

Aim for 3 sets of 5 reps on each, moving with intent. The goal is speed, not grinding out reps.

👉Want to know exactly what’s limiting your speed? Book a Custom Golf Movement Assessment (CGMA) through the link in my bio. We’ll test your mobility, stability, and power, then build a plan around your body and your swing⛳️

Your swing can only be as good as your body allows. 🏌️‍♂️

Most golfers try to fix a short backswing, early extension, or a flying elbow with more range balls and more swing tips. But if your body can’t get into the position, no tip will hold up on the course.

These are the 4 mobility factors we screen for in every golfer:

1️⃣ Upper back rotation: your thoracic spine should do most of the turning, not your lower back
2️⃣ Hip rotation: lets you load into the trail side and turn through without swaying or sliding
3️⃣ Ankle mobility: keeps you in posture so you don’t stand up through impact
4️⃣ Shoulder rotation: sets the club at the top and keeps it on plane

Swipe through and do the quick check on each slide. Couldn’t pass one (or more)? That’s likely where your swing is breaking down, and where your low back pain might be coming from.

👉 Book your Custom Golf Movement Assessment (CGMA) through the link in bio. We’ll test all four, find your limits, and build a plan around your body, in person in St. Louis or virtually from anywhere.

💾 Save this and retest yourself in 4 weeks.

Your golf training routine is missing this. 👀

This wide lateral lunge with rotation builds:
✅ Strength to load into your trail hip
✅ Stability through your glutes and adductors
✅ Separation between your upper and lower body for more speed

A stronger lower body means more power, better contact, and less stress on your lower back.

Try 2–3 sets of 6–8 reps per side.

40 isn’t late. Waiting is.❌

A tight back after 18. A shorter turn. One more club into greens. Recovery that used to take a night now takes three days. None of it feels urgent, so it’s easy to tell yourself you’ll start when things slow down.📉

Things don’t slow down. You do.

Golf is a sport you can play into your 70s and 80s. Whether you’re still on the first tee then depends on the strength, mobility and balance you build now. And what you build in your 40s pays off twice: more speed and pain-free rounds on the course, and more energy and independence off it.📈

Starting at 40 is building. Starting at 60 is rebuilding.⛳️

Knock out your mobility before you even get out of bed. 🛏️⛳

Most golfers go from mattress to car to first tee without moving a single joint. Then they wonder why the first few holes feel tight, short, and out of sync.

Your hips, mid-back, and shoulders have been locked in one position for 7 to 8 hours. These drills wake them up so your body is ready to rotate before the day even starts:

✅ More turn in your backswing
✅ Less low back tightness
✅ Better mobility from your very first swing

No gym. No mat. Just a few minutes before your feet hit the floor.

Save this for tomorrow morning and send it to your golf buddy who’s always complaining about being stiff. 👇

📲 Find out what’s really holding your swing back. Book your Custom Golf Movement Assessment through the link in bio, or comment “CGMA” and I’ll send you the details. Virtual & In-Person📍

Most golfers go straight from the car to the first tee. That’s why the first three holes feel stiff, the swing feels short, and the back feels tight.❌

A proper warm-up gets your hips, spine, and shoulders moving before you ask them to produce speed. That means more turn, more distance, and less strain on your body, starting from hole one.💯

Here’s the routine:
1️⃣ Obliques: 5 reps each side
2️⃣ T-Spine Rotations: 8 reps each side
3️⃣ Separations: 8 reps each side
4️⃣ Core: 20 reps total
5️⃣ Pelvic Rotations: 8 reps each side
6️⃣ Lateral Step Ups: 8 reps each side

About 5 minutes, no equipment needed. 📌 Save this for your next tee time.

Your coach keeps fixing your swing. Your body keeps breaking it. 🏌️‍♂️

Early extension, over the top, sway, loss of posture, chicken wing: most swing faults aren’t technique problems. They’re mobility and stability problems showing up in your swing.❌

Try the seated rotation test on slide 7. Can’t hit 45° each way? More lessons won’t fix it.

Your swing speed isn’t in your arms. It’s in two X’s across your body. ❌❌

Most golfers chase speed by swinging harder with their arms and shoulders. The real power comes from two fascial slings that connect your hips to your upper body.

🔹 Posterior Oblique Sling: your glute + opposite lat. Loads in the backswing, fires your hips through the downswing, and protects your low back.

🔹 Anterior Oblique Sling: your obliques + opposite adductor. Accelerates your rotation and braces your lead side so power doesn’t leak before impact.

When these two work together, you get effortless speed, better sequencing, and a swing your back can handle for years.

When they don’t? Hello early extension, sway, and low back pain. 😬

This is exactly what we assess and train inside The GTI Method.

🎁🎁🎁

📍 In St. Louis? Train with us in person. We’ll assess your slings, treat what’s holding you back, and build your speed from the ground up.

🌎 Anywhere else? Our virtual program gives you the same GTI Method with custom programming and coaching from home.
