Jaxen was born at 28 weeks and 3 days gestation, 1 pound 13 ounces and a little over 12 inches, He was IUGR! Where he has been Since May 30th,2012. He was diagnosed with BPD(chronic lung disease), minor pulmonary hypertension(aa few minor issues that come along with being premature. He's had pneumonia several times, blood infections and urine infections. Several blood transfusions, picc lines, xra
ys, ultrasounds,MRI, Aspiration tests & Tracheostomy surgery(due to his bad lungs and needed vented for a while), A double inguinal hernia surgery, a gtube/fundo surgery! He celebrated his first birthday in Cardinal Glennon, discharged home July 31,2012 after 14months 1day in their nicu, he was only home for 14days until he was put in their picu then transferred to St.louis Children's, where he is now. He was being examined for a possible lung transplant but so far he's NOT listed! Few weeks after his arrival to STLCH my husband and I found we were expecting again,for the very last time!!! Jolie was born March 7, 2014 from the same complications severe preeclampsia, and she was also IUGR 1pound, 6ounces 12inches and is doing well in Cardinal Glennon.
