✨ APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN ✨

Virtuous Doula Training Academy is now accepting applications for our 16-Week Perinatal Health Worker Training Program beginning September 21, 2026.

This hybrid training program prepares students to support families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and early parenting through advocacy, education, resource navigation, and holistic support.

Our program includes:
🤍 Hands-on birth & clinical skills labs
🤍 Trauma-informed and reproductive justice-centered education
🤍 Workforce readiness & professional development
🤍 Mentorship from experienced maternal health professionals
🤍 CPR and maternal health skills exposure
🤍 Childcare and dinner during select in-person labs

Graduates may pursue opportunities in:
• Birth support
• Maternal health advocacy
• Community health programs
• Perinatal family support roles

✨ Cohort size is intentionally limited to 20 students to maintain a supportive, hands-on learning environment.

Applications will go through a review and interview process as part of admissions.

📍 Orientation Week: September 14, 2026
📍 Classes Begin: September 21, 2026
📍 Priority Applications & Scholarship Deadline: August 15, 2026

💜🌺 Attention All Aspiring Virtuous Doulas! It’s Time to Recertify and Refresh Your Skills! 🌺💜

We’re excited to announce our updated Virtuous Doula Recertification Program—designed to keep you at the forefront of maternal care. 🌟 As part of our commitment to excellence, we’re introducing a mandatory Doula Refresher Course as part of our upgraded recertification program. This course is mandatory for all new applicants and our 8-week graduates. We want to ensure all Virtuous Doulas stay up-to-date with the latest in doula care, client support, and professional standards.

We have 2 scheduled dates: (16 hours on length)

November 30 - December 1, 2024 @ 9a-5p both days

December 14 - December 15, 2024 @ -5p both days

Investment: $1000

Cost includes all materials, breakfast, lunch, CPR, HIPAA, and Cultural Competency Training.

Join Virtuous Doula Training Academy as we host Mitsuzy Green of Birthing Noire in Pearland, TX!

We're SOOOOOO excited!!! The training is OCTOBER 13, 2024 CST.
