September is National Preparedness Month. At 4M, we view this as a great time for us to spotlight something we work on all year long: staying ready for the unexpected.

Fires, severe weather, chemical spills, medical incidents, and security threats can happen on any given day.

Our SafePath safety sessions cover the fundamentals year-round, with a focus on knowing the following:
· Exits and evacuation routes
· Emergency contact procedures
· Established assembly areas
· Reporting hazards early
· Fire extinguisher, first aid kit locations

National Preparedness Month is a good reminder to revisit the basics and make sure every Team Member remains sharp and attentive.

Prepared employees respond calmly. Unprepared employees panic.

Proud of Dan Cline and Bud Brooks for putting this into words.

Dan (COO) and Bud (EVP, 4M Hypercare) wrote a piece for CleanLink on where the cleaning industry is headed: "it looks clean" doesn't cut it anymore, and clients expect proof that a program actually works, not just an impression that it does.

When 4M acquired St. Cloud, Minn.-based Buttweiler Environmental in 2023, Ben Buzick had spent 21 years building the company alongside the Buttweiler family. He had the same question every seller and its management team has before signing: What happens to my people?
