💜 IN LOVING MEMORY OF KARA MORENO 💜

Among the names supporting this year’s Althea Project Golf Tournament is one that holds an especially meaningful place in our hearts — Kara Moreno.

This tournament is held in Kara’s memory, and her name and story continue to be an important part of The Althea Project and the work we do.

This weekend, we’ll come together for a day of golf, laughter, community, and giving — all while raising funds to help women in recovery find safe housing, support, and the opportunity to build a new future.

And through it all, we’ll remember the beautiful life that helped inspire so much of what this tournament represents.

Stephanie is a Missouri family law attorney, but her connection to The Althea Project goes far beyond being a sponsor. She is also one of the founding board members of The Althea Project and has been part of our mission from the very beginning.

Stephanie believed in our vision of creating a place where women in recovery could find safe housing, support, accountability, and the resources they need to build a new life — and she helped us turn that vision into a reality.
