Stand Up & Speak out its never too late Helping Victims and Parents who have suffered Child Abuse Hi my name is Payton Simpson. I didnt tell because I felt like no one would have believed me.

I am here to tell my story and hopefully help children who have been in the similar situation, I was molested for over a decade. From the time I was 5 years old to the time I was 17 I let it go on for so long because he was family friend and my parents trusted him. It came down to the point when I was 17 ...standing on the side of the highway ready to end my own life because I felt so ashamed but

I decided to tell and do something about it. I have now realized that it was never my fault that man took my innocents. As a kid I didnt grow up like most I was living a double life and its not easy I'm starting this group because I want to help children and parents who have been in similar situations and provide encouraging words and support to help the victims to find courage and bravery to STAND UP AND SPEAK OUT!!! I would personally like to thank everyone who joins this group and shares their story. It is our hope to raise more awareness about the abuse that happens daily to our children in this country. It has been extremely painful and difficult to realize that not only had our child become a victim but us as parents as well. Please remember the road to recovery is never easy but with the help of family, friends, therapy and my daughters hope of this group we can help find the bravery within ourselves to Speak Out. If you are a parent and a child comes to you and tells you that something has happened to them PLEASE BELIEVE THEM AND STAND UP AND SPEAK OUT.

I don’t talk about this much… but I’ve been through things that tried to break me before I even had a chance to understand the world.

As a kid, I went through something no child should ever have to experience. It took pieces of my innocence, my trust, and for a long time, my voice.

But it did NOT take my future.‼️

I’ve had to rebuild myself from places people never saw. I’ve fought battles in silence. I’ve carried pain I didn’t deserve. But I’m still here and that means something.

What happened to me does not define me. It doesn’t control me. And it will not be the end of my story.💯

I’m stronger than what tried to destroy me.‼️

So if you’re out there carrying something heavy from your past… I see you. You’re not weak for what you’ve been through—you’re powerful for surviving it.💯

And we’re still standing.💯💯💯

make peace w the past so you can be mentally & emotionally free from it. forgive yourself for what was & refocus your current energy to what is possible for you. youre free to be who you truly want to be, you can evolve, you can change, you can get better. move on.

You will have really hard days.

Not stuck in traffic or someone else getting your parking spot or any of the other mundane annoyances we all deal with on a frequent basis.

The real challenges in your life are the soul changing events that try your sanity.

When that time comes and it will. You really only have two choices; lose hope and self destruct or find a new inner strength to become greater than you were.

Like iron in the flame we are being forged for an unknown destination. You either break or get stronger.

Forgiveness.

You don't necessarily forgive people because they deserve it. That doesn't really matter, what really matters is that you deserve it.

Your own peace in this life is difficult to find and far to valuable to waste.
