📩 A Message from our Owner: School Counselors Available for the 2026-27 School Year!

As you plan and prepare for the upcoming school year, ensuring your students have robust mental health and emotional support is likely a top priority.

I am reaching out from West County Psychological Associates to offer our dedicated services for your open School Social Work and School Counselor positions. We partner with local schools and districts to provide highly qualified, fully vetted professionals who can step into your school community and make an immediate, positive impact. For 40 years, West County Psychological Associates served as the "go to" mental health support for St. Louis area schools, and we aim to continue that effort with the highest quality team of professionals.

Why Partner with West County Psychological Associates?

Turnkey Staffing Solutions: Skip the lengthy hiring process. We handle the recruiting, vetting, and credential verification so you get qualified professionals ready for day one.

Comprehensive Student Support: Our staff are trained to manage crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, IEP/504 support, and behavioral interventions.

Clinical Supervision Included: Unlike independent hires, our placements receive ongoing clinical supervision and professional development from our senior clinical team, ensuring the highest standard of care.

Flexible Contracts: Whether you need full-time coverage, part-time support, or maternity/medical leave coverage, we can tailor a plan to fit your needs.
Our Goal: We aim to blend seamlessly into your existing school culture, lifting the administrative burden off your plate while providing students with the stable, compassionate care they deserve.

Let’s Connect!

I would love to schedule a brief, 15-minute call or meeting in the next few weeks to learn more about your specific staffing needs for the next school year and discuss how we can support your team. Thank you for your time and for everything you do for our community's students!

Warm regards,

Maria Miskovic, MSW, LCSW

At WCPA, we offer a wide range of comprehensive psychological evaluations tailored to fit your individual needs. We serve children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults.

Psychological evaluations typically involve a clinical interview, during which the clinician will obtain a thorough history and determine what type of testing is appropriate. The next step involves psychological testing, which may include cognitive, achievement, emotional, and/or personality testing depending on the presenting problem and referral question. After the evaluation, your clinician will prepare a report summarizing findings, diagnoses, and treatment recommendations, and will meet with you to provide feedback.

Last Thursday, April 23rd, Steve Miskovic had a wonderful time at the Loyola Academy of St. Louis and Marian Middle School 8th Grade Career Fair on the Loyola Academy campus.

Steve loved getting to chat with the students about what it’s like to work in the field of psychology and mental health.

West County Psychological Associates has a long-standing heart for the Marian Middle community, providing counseling services to their amazing graduates, so it was an honor to be part of this joint event.

Thank you for having us, Loyola and Marian! The future looks very bright for these 8th graders. 🎓✨
