This Sunday!!!! June 7, 12:00-2:30pm we have a beginner yoga friendly workshop for all who are interested in learning more about arm balances and inversions!

Come away with the “how tos” for working on these intriguing postures. Explore progressions to build up into these poses plus tips and tricks from physics and anatomy to help you align and fly with more ease.

In this workshop, we’ll engage in a full class while workshopping and breaking down these complex postures into simpler steps. Tap into your courage and get ready for a fun adventure, laughing, and exploring these postures together!

Kristen Boccumini has a M.S. in Exercise Science & Rehabilitation and over 20 years of experience teaching yoga with additional training in functional core strength. Kristen is a PSU Kinesiology faculty and also co-owner of Yoga Lab.

July 26 -      “Spirals & Spirits” = Turn & twist to improve mobility, core connection, and spinal freedom.

Aug 30 -      “Flow State On Tap” = A feel-good flow to build energy, rhythm, and mental clarity.

Sept 27 -     “Slow Burn Bourbon” = Build inner fire for the cooler mornings with a slow, heat-building flow.

Oct 25 -       “Scaredy Cat Cider” = Get your moans and groans out with a mobility-focused flow for spooky season.

We’ll meet on the grass lawn behind the building. Bring water, a yoga mat, hat, and wear sunscreen. We’ll move to the enclosed back patio in case of rain.

New Teacher!! Welcome Jennifer Yoder to the Yoga Lab team!! 💕🤗

Jennifer is teaching Outdoor Yoga this Friday, May 29 4:30-5:30pm, and many more Fridays this season!

Jennifer is a grounded, philosophy-driven teacher whose classes are rooted in breath, strength, and mindful awareness. She has been practicing yoga for over 12 years and teaching since 2022, and holds dual RYT 200 certifications. Her background blends a deep appreciation for the foundational principles of yoga with a strong emphasis on functional, anatomy-informed movement.

Jennifer practices to step out of the mind and connect with the present moment, and she invites her students to do the same. Through a balance of dynamic and challenging, strength-building movement, she encourages introspection and awareness. She hopes students leave class not only feeling stronger and more at ease, but with a sense of peace and something meaningful they can carry into their daily lives.

Off the mat, you can find her exploring local trails, tending to her garden, studying herbalism, or getting lost in a good book.

NEW Outdoor Yoga with Kristen starts this Sunday May 31, 11am-12pm!! These classes are for all levels, so if you’re new to yoga this class is a great one at a great place with great people for camaraderie after class. All are welcome!!

New Teacher!! Welcome Chrissy Fritton to the Yoga Lab team!!! 💕🤗

Chrissy first started teaching yoga to children in 2018 and loves instilling a lifelong love of movement at a young age. She loves being active, a former runner turned cyclist, and recreational athlete, she adds strength and functional movement to her flows. She aims to meet participants where they are and create a calm and supportive environment.

Movement has always been a part of Chrissy’s life and she loves sharing the joy of movement with others. She came to Yoga Lab looking to maintain her yoga practice in a more sustainable way and found a wonderful community to share her love of movement. When she is not on her mat, you may find her teaching preschool, cycling classes, on the volleyball court, or softball field. She also met her husband on the softball field and they continue to raise one daughter. She also loves animals, volunteers with several rescues and has two cats and one dog.
