Are you a coffee drinker? ☕ Your morning cup can absolutely be part of a healthy routine!

One of my favorite tips is to drink a glass of water before your coffee. It’s a simple way to rehydrate after going all night without fluids—and it can help you begin the day feeling refreshed.

From timing your coffee to choosing the right additions, this article has even more simple tips to help you enjoy your morning coffee in a healthier way. Read it here: https://chemistrycachet.com/heres-how-to-make-your-morning-coffee-fit-into-a-healthy-routine/

How I clean a REALLY dirty sink, quickly 🧪✨

As a chemist AND a mom, I’m all about cleaning smarter, not spending my entire day scrubbing. So while my kids watch a little math show, here’s how I tackle a nasty kitchen sink and get it clean, fresh, and shiny FAST.

🧼🧽👩🏻‍🔬Save this post, Comment SINK, I’ll send you the products I use! Save this one too—you’ll want it next time your sink gets out of control. 🙃

Step 1: Scrub with a ground-mineral paste.
I use a quartz-based cleaning paste because it gives me the mechanical scrubbing power I need for stuck-on debris and grime, while being gentle enough for the sink surface. I pair it with a damp sponge, which helps distribute the product and gives me a little foaming action as I scrub.

Step 2: Rinse it all away.
A good rinse removes the loosened grime and leftover cleaning product.

Step 3: Freshen the garbage disposal.
I toss in a plant-based garbage disposal pod to clean things up and leave the sink area smelling fresh. This makes such a difference when your sink looks clean but still smells…not so clean. 😅

Step 4: SHINE! ✨
For stainless steel, I finish with my DIY shine spray. You can also use your favorite store-bought stainless steel cleaner here.

Step 5: Buff with a stainless steel microfiber cloth.
This final step helps remove streaks and gives you that shiny, polished finish.

SO CLEAN—and I didn’t spend my entire afternoon doing it. 🙌

Cleaning as a busy mom is all about using the right chemistry + the right tools so you can spend LESS time cleaning.

Comment SINK for everything I used!
