Take It All In
The sun won’t aways shine yet we can take it all in
Being in Mama’s arms may be the safest place we will ever be
Daddy’s voice may be the only thing that keeps us straight and in line
Today may be the last day we take in fresh air
We have a choice
To let it all go
Or take it all in
When we use our talents, we make God proud of us
When we look at nature with our heart we are finally living
Our smile will help everyone along the way
Taking in another’s smile will make our day
If we are rich, giving money away will make us more rich
The love of our teachers and our friends is something some don’t have
Not every person gets to see the world with their eyes
A soul mate is rare and more valuable than all the world’s gold
A dog wagging its tale might be all the love we need that day
Personally, I don’t want to let life go anymore
I want to take it in
Like a cancer patient’s last good healthy day
Or the last time a butterfly flies
Like when a person finds out life’s “whys”
As if the sun will never come up again
And the stars will never again shine
I think it is about time that I take it all in
