I’ve been thinking a lot about resilience lately. Mostly because I keep hearing the same thing from people I coach: I’m tired of being the strong one.
And if I’m being truthful, I feel it too.
We talk so much about becoming more resilient, more adaptable, more capable, better at handling hard things. But what happens when the hard thing isn’t temporary?
When you’re always the one figuring it out, holding everyone up, working harder, making it work, absorbing the hit…and then getting back up to do it again?
At some point, maybe the question isn’t “How can I become more resilient?” Maybe it’s “Why am I requiring so much resilience from myself in the first place?”
I’m digging into that one in this week’s Summit Stronger newsletter. It drops Tuesday. 🏔️. If this conversation feels familiar, make sure you’re on the list. Link in bio.
