I think it’s time I say this out loud.

Rainbow & Bloom has been quiet for a while. 🌿
But we are still here!!!!

Over the last few months, I have learned more about myself, my family, my limits, and this dream than I ever expected to.

And somewhere along the way, I started feeling like if I wasn’t constantly posting, growing, announcing, creating, and proving that Rainbow & Bloom was moving forward, people might think I had given up.

I haven’t.

If anything, I care about this dream enough to stop forcing it into a shape simply because that was the shape I originally imagined.

Rainbow & Bloom was born from a belief that childhood should be full of wonder. That children deserve spaces where they can explore, create, get dirty, ask questions, notice the tiny things, and feel completely free to be exactly who they are.

That part has never changed.

But I am changing.

And I’m realizing that sometimes building something means having the courage to tear up your original blueprint.

So for now, Rainbow & Bloom is stepping back from the noise.

We’re not closing our doors.
We’re not disappearing.
And I absolutely have not given up.

We’re building quietly. 🌱

And we cannot wait to watch what blooms from these roots next, it will be be something worth waiting for. 🌈

This week’s Sunday Reflection is exactly that…

Reflecting on what brought me here.

Reminiscing about the countless hours I spent with some of the most incredible little humans.

Remembering why I fell in love with early childhood education in the first place.

Realizing that every hug, every milestone, every laugh, and every relationship I’ve built has led me down this path.

Restoring my soul while building a dream that has been growing in my heart for so long.

Rejoicing in the privilege of being just a small part of so many children’s stories…

Because the truth is, while we spend our days teaching them, they leave footprints on our hearts too.

As Rainbow & Bloom continues to grow, I carry every child, every family, and every lesson with me. They helped shape the vision of the place I hope will become home for so many more.

Where families flourish. 🌈🌸

Did you know?

Children laugh around 300 times a day, while the average adult laughs only about 20 times.

At Rainbow & Bloom, we believe childhood should be filled with opportunities to laugh, explore, imagine, and simply be a child. Those carefree moments aren’t just fun—they help build confidence, strengthen relationships, encourage creativity, and create memories that last a lifetime.

Maybe we should all spend a little more time seeing the world through a child’s eyes!

So this weekend, take a cue from your little one. Dance in the kitchen, read one more bedtime story, chase bubbles in the backyard, or laugh until your belly hurts.

At Rainbow & Bloom, we believe some of the best learning happens outside.

Imagine a child sitting beneath a tree with nothing more than a handful of pine straw. To an adult, it may seem simple—but to a child, it’s an invitation to create, explore, and discover.

A bundle of pine straw can become a bird’s nest, a tiny house for bugs, a building material, or the start of a brand-new adventure. Along the way, children strengthen fine motor skills, practice problem-solving, engage their imaginations, and build a connection with the world around them.

Nature has a way of turning ordinary moments into extraordinary learning opportunities.
