Pregnant or recently postpartum and wondering if pelvic floor PT is worth it?
This is your sign 🤍
DM me to book an initial evaluation to get started.

Here are just a few examples of exercises that I am doing week 4 PP after a vaginal delivery:

▫️ Reverse lunges (bodyweight) 2x8 ea
▫️ Banded deadlifts 3x8
▫️ Pallof press with rotation 2x8 ea way
▫️ Modified mountain climbers 3x10 ea leg
▫️ Hip flexor stretch 10x10 seconds

By week 4 postpartum, many bodies are ready for more challenge — without rushing intensity.

This week for me is all about:
✔️ introducing unilateral work
✔️ adding slow & controlled core work
✔️ managing pressure with breath

Move with intention, exhale on effort.
And remember: symptoms guide progression — not the calendar.

If you notice leaking, pressure, pain, or heaviness, that’s your body asking for support 🤍

Pelvic floor PT helps bridge the gap between rest and return to full activity. Reach out to book your initial evaluation today!

Walking is often the first movement we return to postpartum—but it’s still a load on a healing body & especially your pelvic floor🤍

A gradual return helps prevent:
❌ prolapse symptoms
❌ leaking
❌ pain that shows up days/weeks later

Here’s a general return-to-walk guideline for an uncomplicated vaginal delivery ⬇️

✔️ Start shorter than you think
✔️ Flat before hills
✔️ You should feel better after—not worse

Use this progression as a starting point—not a rulebook. If walking doesn’t feel good yet, that’s information—not a problem. Pelvic floor PT bridges the gap between birth and full activity 💪 DM me if you’d like to get started to have guidance in your PP rehab!

Save this for later & share with a new mom 🤍

Excuse the tiredness in my voice & the baby sounds 😅 I was nursing while recording the voiceovers!

Here’s a recap of some of the movements I focused on week 2 PP (post vaginal delivery):

✨ Spinal mobility (hello cat–cows)
Helps reduce stiffness from feeding + holding baby, improves rib–pelvis mechanics, and supports pelvic floor lengthening and recoil.

✨ Neuromotor re-education
Pregnancy + birth disrupt the brain–core connection. Slow, intentional movement helps the nervous system relearn when and how to engage — without gripping & clenching.

✨ Postural strengthening
Upper back and deep core support matter for pelvic floor function. When posture improves, pressure management improves too.

✨ Gentle hip strengthening
The pelvic floor doesn’t work alone. Glutes, adductors, and deep hip muscles help create a supportive system that allows the pelvic floor to activate appropriately, not forcefully.

Early postpartum isn’t about doing more.
It’s about doing the right things, at the right intensity, at the right time.
