And this is exactly why I opened my practice. There's such a need, and providing that need with compassion, grace and understanding is my goal. Consider donating to LAEF so that other families can have access - laefsc.org

💙 THIS is why LAEF exists. 💚

When Jennifer Chapman and her family were searching for answers, they faced challenges no family should have to navigate alone.

Through the Lowcountry Autism Evaluation Fund, her daughter was able to receive an autism evaluation, opening the door to the services and support she needed.

Jennifer shared something in The Post and Courier that reminds us exactly why we do this work:

💬 “This was the first time we had gotten some real help.”

Those words mean everything to us. ❤️

For LAEF, success isn’t measured in dollars raised. It’s measured in families finding answers, children gaining access to care, and parents finally feeling hope.

But there are still families waiting for that same opportunity.

Your donations make stories like Jennifer’s possible. Help us change another family’s life.

💙 Every child deserves access. Every family deserves answers.

Have you tried any of these? What works for you?

The important part is that there is no single “right” way to manage ADHD. A strategy that looks strange to someone else may be exactly what helps you function.

Every child develops at their own pace. Some children begin talking early, while others take longer to use words. Some children love playing with others, while others prefer to play independently. I will NEVER FORGET where I was, how I felt and what I was doing September 11th 2001. Let us all take a moment today to remember the victims from that day, and the nation of unity that we became on 9/12.
