✨ Women’s History Month Spotlight ✨

Today we proudly honor Stephanie Gunner.

Stephanie Gunner is a veteran turned mompreneur, advanced esthetician, permanent makeup artist, photographer, and certified trauma-aware yoga instructor. She is the founder of Surrender Self Care (formerly Squad Beauty Professionals), a holistic self-care salon in Las Vegas dedicated to helping women feel their best—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

With over six years in entrepreneurship, Stephanie has built a multi-dimensional wellness space that integrates beauty and wellness services, and personal development. She is passionate about helping women create freedom through self-care, while also mentoring aspiring beauty professionals to build sustainable, purpose-driven businesses.

Through her work, Stephanie continues to create safe, empowering spaces where women can pause, reset, and reconnect with themselves.

✨Women’s History Month Spotlight ✨

Today we proudly honor City of North Las Vegas Mayor, Pamela Goynes-Brown.

Pamela Goynes-Brown was elected mayor of North Las Vegas in 2022, becoming Nevada’s first Black mayor. A lifelong educator, she served more than a decade as Ward 2 councilwoman and two terms as mayor pro tempore. She worked 35 years with the Clark County School District, retiring as an assistant principal, and holds a masters degree in elementary education from Nova Southeastern University and bachelor’s degree in music education from Prairie View A&M University.

As mayor, she has led initiatives that expand education, business, and community development, including the Homegrown Teacher Program, Project Sparkle, and major projects such as Apex Industrial Park, Hylo Park, the Downtown Gateway redevelopment, and the new 135-acre Medical Campus.

Her community leadership has earned numerous honors, including Woman of the Year from Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. She is married to Romero Brown and has two children and two grandchildren.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling, fishing, playing bingo and participating in sports.

✨ Women’s History Month Spotlight ✨

Today we proudly honor Pamela Schilling Buckley.

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Pamela Buckley has always had a close connection to the gaming industry. She began her career in 1996 as a lifeguard at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino. From there, she started at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino, launching what would become a 23-year journey with Caesars Entertainment. During that time, she held roles across hotel operations, casino marketing, VIP services, and sales, embracing what she describes as a “jungle gym” approach to career growth, raising her hand, taking on new challenges, and learning from every opportunity.

Although her college degree is in education, Pamela has always considered herself a lifelong learner. A passion for teaching, mentoring, and helping others grow has shaped her leadership style, grounded in curiosity, empathy, and a strong focus on developing people alongside processes.

In 2023, she joined the opening team at Fontainebleau Las Vegas as Executive Director of Rewards and Casino Services, further strengthening her expertise in resilience, adaptability, and strategic leadership.

In late 2024, Pamela stepped into her current role as Executive Vice President of Global Gaming Women, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting, inspiring, and advancing women in gaming. Today, her work is centered on impact, helping women find their voice, pursue their passions, and thrive in an industry that has played a defining role in her life.

Today we proudly honor Shane Jasmin Young.

Shane Jasmine Young is an Attorney and Founder of Young Law Group: 46-time Best of Las Vegas Winner. Shane focuses her practice on Legal Life Planning, including Asset Protection, Trusts and Estates, Business, Long-Term Care, Kids Protection, and Pets Protection.

As a wife, mother of 5, and business owner, Shane is dedicated to empowering others to make well-informed decisions for themselves, their loved ones and children, and their businesses as well as other assets – keeping families and business owners out of court and conflict, providing true peace of mind and achieving goals such as protection, legacy, and generational wealth.

Shane grew up in Las Vegas, graduating Valedictorian from Green Valley High School in 1997. In April 2000, five months pregnant with identical twins, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. After college, Shane and her family moved back to Las Vegas where she attended UNLV’s Boyd School of Law.

Shane was recently featured as a Top Businesswoman in Nevada by Vogue, Vanity Fair, Fortune 500, Forbes, and Entrepreneur Magazine and was honored to receive the International Leadership Award at the 20thAnnual ATHENA International Gala and induction to the Women’s Hall of Fame. She has been selected for the “40 Under 40” Award, Woman of Impact by the Las Vegas Aces and Game Changer by the American Cancer Society and was honored as the 2025 Boyd School of Law Alumna of the Year.

Shane and Charles are proud of their daughters: Caira, Shaira, Caylyn, Camryn, and Samara. Their oldest daughters are Boyd Law Students, and younger 3 attend Faith Lutheran Middle and High School and play basketball competitively.
