This New Moon/Solar Eclipse might feel a little personal as there is a lot happening in the sign Leo right now. Jupiter entered Leo at the end of June, expanding themes around confidence, creativity, pleasure, self-expression, and taking up more space.

Then, at the end of July, the South Node also entered Leo, beginning a much deeper process around what we're ready to release, outgrow, and rethink about the way we show up in the world and how we are — or are not — sharing our warmth with others.

And now the Sun and Moon meet in Leo with a Solar Eclipse, bringing all of this into focus.

So if, for the last several weeks, you have been thinking more about what you want, where you're putting your energy, how you're being seen, or whether your current life actually feels like you, this is the moment to pay attention to it.

But it's an eclipse, so you don't necessarily need to do anything about it yet. And this is important because we are naturally surrounded by a lot of noise, whether that be about who you should be, what you should be doing, or how your life should look… and this can feel like a lot — especially right now. But Leo helps to break this down into a very simple question for us:

Do you actually like the life you're living?

And when answering this question, don't fall into the trap of focusing on the material world. Rather, allow yourself to answer through the lens of feeling. Does this life feel like you?

These are the kinds of things worth noticing around this eclipse. But there is no pressure to have an answer yet. In fact, you may not get the full picture right away. Eclipses have a way of revealing things in pieces, and the themes that begin now can continue unfolding over the months ahead.

For now, protect your energy and lay low. Keep your schedule lighter if you can. Don't overbook yourself, force things to happen, or make major decisions, as you could be coming from an emotionally high or low state. Give yourself some space to observe what's happening rather than immediately trying to figure out what it all means.

This is the beginning of a much bigger Leo story, and you have plenty of time to see how it unfolds.

Under today’s energies, the invitation is not to chase every opening, but to recognize which one carries the deepest truth for your heart and give it the devotion it deserves.
