The Sussex County C.L.E.A.R. Program offers free recovery coaching, improved access to treatment, and family support for people with addiction.

Community Law Enforcement Addiction Recovery

Bridging the gap between addiction and recovery, law enforcement and the recovery community, The Sussex County C.L.E.A.R. Program offers community members seeking help for substance use disorder the opportunity to walk into a participating police department to start their journey to recovery by getting paired with a trained Recovery Coach. Our mission

is to form a collaborative network of professionals in our community who will facilitate medical intervention, improved access to treatment and recovery support for those struggling with drug addiction who seek assistance, without fear of arrest or prosecution, in order to make a positive difference in the quality of life for individuals, families and our entire community. The Sussex County CLEAR Program is managed by the Center for Prevention & Counseling, Inc.

The Sussex County Prosecutor's Office and Kasey from The Center for Prevention & Counseling spent the afternoon connecting with community members and sharing messages of hope and recovery.

Every conversation was an opportunity to remind our community that help is available, and recovery is possible!

Starting Friday, July 31 through Saturday, August 8, our Operation Helping Hand (OHH) team was at the Sussex County Fair, connecting with our community and spreading messages of hope, recovery, and support. 💜

Together, the Sussex County Prosecutor's Office and The Center for Prevention & Counseling teams:
✔️ Connected with 816 community members
✔️ Distributed 60 Narcan kits
✔️ Shared resources, education, and recovery support

Every conversation was an opportunity to remind our community that help is available and recovery is possible!

Learn how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and respond quickly with Narcan Nasal Spray. You don’t need to be a healthcare professional to make a difference. Anyone can be prepared to save a life.

On Saturday our Operation Helping Hand (OHH) team was at Summer at the Park in Hardyston!

Paul from the Sussex County Prosecutor's Office, along with Taylor from The Center for Prevention & Counseling spent the afternoon connecting with community members and sharing messages of hope and recovery. We even got tickets for free ice cream which was the perfect way to end our day of connection!

We’re so grateful to everyone who visited our OHH table—whether you stopped by to say hello, gather resources, or learn more about our programs.
