Let’s talk about the importance of community in mental health! As humans we have a biological need and crave a sense of belonging. Here’s a few reasons why fostering community and welcoming all can be a step towards positive mental health!
Reduces Isolation: Loneliness is heavily linked to poor mental well-being. Community spaces prevent isolation by fostering continuous social interaction.
Improves Mood: Sharing experiences and talking regularly helps diminish feelings of sadness, anxiety, and stress, making life's challenges more manageable.Increases
Resilience: People with strong ties to their community are more resilient to mental illness and report higher levels of general resilience
