As temperatures rise across Alabama, it’s important to recognize the warning signs of both heat stroke and stroke, two serious medical emergencies that require immediate action.

While heat stroke occurs when the body overheats and can no longer regulate its temperature, a stroke happens when blood flow to the brain is interrupted. Both conditions can cause confusion, dizziness, and loss of consciousness, making it critical to know the signs and what to do next.

🚨 In either situation, call 911 immediately. Fast treatment can save lives and improve outcomes.
